WPML is by far the best solution for multilingual WordPress websites. To be honest, I never even tried any other multilingual plugins, but that’s precise because I don’t need to look beyond WPML. I colleague of mine recommended it to me a few years ago, and I never looked back. I use it both for my clients’ websites and my personal web projects.

I’m a web developer, and most of my contracts are in Canada, an officially bilingual country. It’s handy to know that I can put WPML into place to handle the usual English to French toggle. I’ve even used it on a site that was English, Inuktitut, and French. Knowing that it can handle Inuktitut gives me all the confidence I need.
